So I did not go to church today like I promised. Maybe I wasn’t ready. Maybe I was just too damn tired (I woke up at noon).

Wow Josh.you slept two hours later than I did. I didnt go to Church either. Instead I sat around watching music videos and blogging about it. Its OK brother. You still are the Church.
Well, it's good for you then that God invented the Saturday AND the new and improved Sunday night services, for spiritual slackers just like you.
And they say people don't believe in God anymore... I say, how could you not with such compelling evidence.
That's ok though, I've got a Korean church that meets around the corner... and check this out, they meet as a church EVERY DAY at 5:30am and 10pm, and then they have their 'regular' weekend services on top of that. Sounds like they might be right down your alley. If you'd like I could go ahead and put you on their mailing list. I hear their worship rocks too, they got a piano AND and an organ... yeah baby, can I get a whoop whoop!!!

Steve - It's interresting to me that you should use that particular term "backslider", in light or you recent posts. It seems to me that SCP is beginning to take a suspiciously gay direction. What was it Ninjanun was just pointing out... that which you rail on the most is usually your own greatest sin. Just think about that word, "back slider"--gay!
