Might I suggest you read Sam Harris's "A Letter To A Christian Nation"? I think you'll find that to be interesting.
I too miss the "I can feel Jesus in my mouth" line.
Josh, I'm exactly in the same boat you are. Just trying to make it through each day, but yet there's something gnawing at me. I'd love to go back to church, but I can't see myself fitting in anywhere.
I think McLaren and company have some great ideas, but they come off a bit too pretentious about "the conversation" and "metanarrative".
Steve, in this podcast I get the feeling you are questioning God rather than just questioning Churchianity. I too have questioned at times but deep down, I hold my core values. Do you still consider yourself a Christian or are you deconverting in addition to detoxing? On most SCP podcasts, I can tell that you guys are truly Christian at the core and just dont like the BS that goes on with the Church. This one left me wondering.
I dont mean that with any judgementalness. I am just curious as to whether or not your core beliefs (such as Jesus, the Bible, etc) have changed.

The new intro sounds great, though I'm going to miss hearing Josh say "I can feel Jesus in my mouth!" in it.
Anyhoo, yay! :)
