Jeff - why not. He lived a very happy and fulfilled life. Haven't you read his work?
Ad hominem arguments are based on a logical fallacy that the person's character somehow negates the truthfulness of their words.
I wasn't refering to his character. I was referring to the fact that the 'truthfulness of his words' were, many times, affected by narcotic mind-altering, substances.
And yes, I've read his work. He was a brilliant writer.
